Wilderness Beach is less than two hundred metres away — close enough to hear the surf if the wind is right. The cottage has a garden and a terrace, with an outdoor fireplace and seating that make evenings outside genuinely usable rather than an afterthought.
A balcony adds another layer to the indoor-outdoor arrangement. Inside, the layout is straightforward: a washing machine, free WiFi, and the kind of practical setup that supports a longer stay rather than just a weekend. George Airport is roughly half an hour by road, which makes arrival and departure easier than at many properties along this stretch of coast.

Deep Blue Sea Cottage is situated in the quaint, beautiful, multi-cultural village of Kleinkrantz, a suburb of Wilderness. The house has some stunning sea views and is just 40 metres from the stairs leading to a pristine SANParks beach that stretches in both directions for about 20 kilometres. Dolphins are often seen near the shore, and whales are sometimes nearby. Although the Kleinkrantz beach is a Conservation beach and not a swimming beach, it is safe to go for long walks or paddle during low tide. The beach is popular with anglers and paragliders worldwide who flock here to soar the skies. Kleinkrantz is 8 km from Wilderness Village, where a Spar and numerous restaurants are located, and the nearest Blue Flag swimming beach is 4.2 km away. The area is quiet, tranquil, and a bird and nature lover's paradise. The villagers are warm and friendly, and we are delighted to share our slice of heaven with visitors. There are two small superettes in Kleinkrantz for basics as well as a cosy bistro.
Deep Blue Sea Cottage has a light and airy - yet cosy - beach house feel with some beautiful, interesting artworks as decor. It is very well equipped for a blissful seaside holiday. The house has two sets of stairs and is unsuitable for small children or visitors with mobility issues.
