Quite honestly, we are proud of our property. We bought it late 2017, an empty farm but overgrown with large alien trees, wattle, gum, port Jackson and pine. By law we had to remove all these trees, a mammoth task. We cut firewood, sold wood, chipped wood, made compost and removed oh so many tree stumps. At the same time we build the first building (we called it the workshop) which we are offering for rent now. We lived with our three young kids in this building for three years whilst we were building the main house. We have since moved into the main house and rebuilt the workshop into two apartments. These apartments are a cumulation of Mana's (my wife) eye of interior design and my experience being a building contractor for the past 30 years. When you come onto our property and into the apartment, I promise you, you will see and feel why we are proud of it! Each apartment has its own fenced garden with a spacious braai and a paved area with fire pit to enjoy sitting around a fire in the evenings..
The property creates its own power supply via modern solar energy systems. We have a limitless supply of water due to a solar powered borehole and water collection tanks.
