The lagoon is close enough that the light shifts constantly through the day — soft and silver in the morning, brass-toned by late afternoon. Inside, the apartment is compact and considered: one bedroom, one bathroom with air-conditioning, a kitchen, and a dining area that flows out to a balcony with garden views.
Bollard Bay Beach is less than two kilometres away on foot. Shared grounds include a tennis court and a private beach area edging the lagoon itself. Pezula Golf Club is a short drive, and the waterfront restaurants and shops of Knysna are easily reached across the causeway.
Free parking and WiFi are included. It suits two people well — a couple wanting something quieter than the main town, without being far from it.

Well furnished apartment is spacious & comfortable. It has a patio for breakfast & balcony for viewing sunsets or having a sundowner. Very private with own stairway & entrance. Owner Hester, usually welcomes guests & explains amenities. Property has a large Inverter for power supply & also water storage tanks. Plenty of safe walking areas, without even leaving Thesen Island. 24/7 gated security. Island beach, with toilets, shower & BBQ facilities. Property situated in the spacious Parklands. Bird Hide only 10 minutes walk away. Tennis & squash courts nearby but you need to bring your own equipment. There is also an outdoor gym. Excellent restaurants in Harbour Town, within 10 minutes walk, across a few beautiful foot bridges over the canals. Knysna Quays Waterfront, with numerous shops & activities also situated nearby.
