About George
George is a city within the Western Cape of South Africa, about the south side of the magnificent Outeniqua Mountains, with around 157,400 inhabitants.
George is situated the coastline roughly 300 km east of Cape Town on the well-known Garden Route. George is the financial capital of the Garden Route.
