This picturesque location offers picture-perfect gardens and the perfect settings for a variety of gatherings and parties of all kinds. The Bosky Dell Rose Garden can be found near Plettenberg Bay, which is located along the Garden Route.

This area is known for its beautiful scenery and idyllic surroundings, making it an ideal location for the garden. The Plett Open Gardens, a yearly event that attracts gardening aficionados from all over the world, is anchored by this garden each year as well..

This rose garden is almost two hectares in size and has been meticulously sectioned off into its several subsections. The more than 250 different types of roses are separated into four areas together with the plants that make the ideal companions for each kind of rose, resulting in a picturesque refuge of fairytale proportions. At the moment, Bosky Dell is home to around 6,000 different rose plants in our various forms.

In addition, there are native trees, wildflowers, and shrubs that work in harmony with the ancient garden or the heritage roses. The beautiful scenery that surrounds this location has contributed to its rise in popularity as a site for art exhibits, recitals, and performances of musical works. The World Federation of Rose Societies presented the Garden of Excellence Award to Bosky Dell in the year 2017.

When traveling to Bosky Dell and Plett, outdoor enthusiasts should not miss the opportunity to spend at least one day on the beach or exploring the many paths of The Robberg Nature Reserve. From Plett, you can reach Knysna in half an hour, while Mossel Bay can be reached in around an hour and a half.

In addition to the Bloukrans Bridge (where you may do the world’s highest commercial bungy jump at 216 meters), the Tsitsikamma Forest, Nature’s Valley, and Storm’s River, the Garden Route links the Eastern and Western Capes.
