Simola Golf Estate
The Simola Golf Estate, which spans 325 hectares of breathtaking terrain and looks out over the town, lagoon, and Indian Ocean, was carved into the slopes above the lovely Garden Route village of Knysna. The location of the course has proven to be excellent since the nearby slopes and peaks have offered outstanding shelter from the predominant coastal breezes that might affect your playing on other courses.

About
An 18-hole championship course designed by golf legend Jack Nicklaus at Simola Golf Estate is the first of his signature designs to be built along the Garden Route. The system is well-protected by bunkers and water features throughout the surrounding woodlands.
The course’s fairways are lush, textured, and undulate throughout, while the greens are a true joy to play on. This course stands out from the competition because of its unusual combination of par 3s and par 5s, which offers a novel and enjoyable challenge to players of all skill levels.
Simola is unquestionably a South African must-play, and because tourists are warmly welcomed here, we urge you to take a break from your next Garden Route excursion and visit the Knysna hills to take advantage of all they have to offer.
The fact that the play is free and available to the public will satisfy visitors. To minimize disappointment, it is strongly advised that you reserve your tee times and your accommodation in Knysna well in advance. Since this is a prestigious estate, you can anticipate first-rate amenities and cutting-edge technology.
