The Heath Complex, Plettenberg Bay, Garden Route, Western Cape, South Africa

A sanctuary for birds of prey who are wounded or orphaned serves the conservation requirements of the region, and we are devoted to rehabilitating and re-releasing as many of these birds as possible. Via our everyday Walking Tours and Flying Demonstrations, our mission is to provide the general public with a glimpse into the critically vital conservation work we are doing.

If you’d like to get up and personal with any of our non-releasable birds, you may join us on one of our Tours, enabling you to see them in our natural habitat. Our primary objective is to strengthen our accreditation as a rehabilitation center to capitalize on the many advantages this iconic Garden Route destination offers.

Raptor Rescue Plettenberg Bay facility is situated just off the N2 and is part of The Heath Complex, a quaint cluster of stores and eateries that sells local goods and crafts. A lovely Gift and Souvenir store sells local goods to help fund our recovery efforts.
