About Malvern Manor Country Guest House
A majestic Cape Dutch manor house nestled in the Outeniqua Mountains’ foothills, with lovely fully grown gardens, a heated pool, and breathtaking views, on its country estate. At just 7 kilometers from the center of George, this hotel is ideal for those who want to be close to both the city and the airport.
There are 21 Hectares at Malvern Manor Country Guesthouse. Garden Route’s only Agri Tourism experience, the Outeniqua Hop Route, is located here.
Worcester Room
An orthopedic queen bed and a fully sprung mattress can be found in the Worcester room, which is right next door to the Guest lounge. Drinks can be enjoyed on the covered stoop at sunset. It is possible to watch the birds from the comfort of your bed in this room. In order to access the room, there are stairs. Luxury toiletries, heated towels, a tea/coffee tray and mini fridge are all included in the en-suite bathroom with a shower. All of the linens and towels are made from the finest percale cotton. Pillows and duvets made of feathers or hollow-fibres are available.
Savannah Room
An additional mattress can be added to the Savannah room, which is a large Executive/Family room with two double beds. Full en-suite bathroom with twin washbasins and heated towel rail is included in the room’s amenities, as are views of the rose garden and mountains. Heated blankets for chilly winter nights, a coffee tray with pre – ground coffee and milk, a mini fridge, a hair dryer, premium toiletries, and a television (DSTV) The private patio has a table and chairs so you can have a picnic or sip cocktails as the sun sets.
Roman Room
It’s hard to imagine a better way to spend your time. This bathroom suite includes a walk-in shower, two sinks, a heated towel rack, and even a heated blanket for those chilly nights. A mini-fridge and a tea/coffee tray are also provided, as are a hair dryer and high-end toiletries. There’s also a TV with DSTV channels, of course. Nevertheless, the bed is clearly the star of the show. Indulge your senses with the finest percale cotton sheets and feather or hollow fiber pillows.

About George
George is a city in the Western Cape of South Africa, on the south side of the dazzling Outeniqua Mountains, with about 157,400 residents.
George is situated the coast roughly 300 km east of Cape Town on the widely known Garden Route. George is the economic capital of the Garden Route. In the vicinity, sightseeing opportunities such as the broad beaches of Herolds Bay, Victoria Bay and Wilderness, the ostrich town of Oudtshoorn and Knysna featuring its lovely lagoon, have been part of the Garden Route National Park since March 2009 .
The local forests with beautiful old yellowwood trees along with other tree species, the gorgeous fynbos with dozens of species of proteas , ericas and heaths and a large variety of fern varieties bring in travellers and holidaymakers who enjoy the outdoors and scenery.
George is known for its wonderful golf courses (you can find three distinct 18-hole courses on the Fancourt estate alone) and the historic Montagu Pass over the Outeniqua Mountain (opened in 1847 ).
